Eurgh! is Breakfast Muff’s third album since their formation in 2014, and there’s no suggestion that they’re running out of stuff to say just yet. In fact, they’re just getting started. Whether they’re furiously calling out shitty faux feminists (R U A Feminist?) or snarkily ‘apologising’ to their forebears for the corners their generation has been forced into (Baby Boomers), their outrage is intoxicatingly eloquent.

Eurgh! is the kind of elemental record which seems simple at first, until you realise that this kind of invigorating riffing doesn’t just happen by accident. It’s brimming with infectious likeability, exuding the same kind of scrappy charm as the likes of The Spook School. The perfect record for the humid, stifling days of British Summertime.
