Since their 2020 resurrection, Black Spiders have been hitting the road once more, and are now dropping Can’t Die, Won’t Die, a successor to their 2021 eponymous album.
In their second incarnation, Black Spiders have upheld their first two records’ distinctive sound, marching down a thin line between hard rock and old-school metal. Stoner rock’s influence perpetuates, especially on the heavy, bassy tracks It Is What It Is and Strange Idea, but spirits and tempos stay high on the ripping Hot Wheels and Driving My Rooster. With Hot Wheels already unleashed as a single, Black Spiders continue to tease their army of fans ahead of their UK tour, which will be coming to Anarchy Brewery on 23rd September. Stand alert and ready your middle fingers.
