Whilst Natasha Khan’s previous record Lost Girls looked to a nostalgic past, this one looks to the future with the birth of her first daughter, Delphi. It’s very much a concept album, but unlike her career highlight The Bride, it’s one that focuses more on the feeling than the song.

Ethereal vocal harmonies run throughout, from the title track opener, but words are scarce. It’s essentially a collection of widescreen soundtrack instrumentals and tracks like the piano-led Her First Morning, which are beautiful but ultimately the soundtrack to a movie only Natasha has seen. For the most part, our only clues lie in the titles. It’s extra frustrating that when she does finally treat us to a pop song, Home, it’s quite brilliant.
