A Stone’s Throw Festival returns to the North Shields coastline on Saturday 23rd May 2026, unveiling the first wave of its biggest lineup yet. Co‑headliners Luvcat and Working Men’s Club lead a bill that also features Chalk, Panic Shack, Gia Ford, Chartreuse, Imogen and the Knife, Hector Gannet and a strong run of rising North East talent.

Now in its fourth year, the multi‑venue coastal trail once again links up with Go North East to shuttle festival‑goers between The Exchange 1856, King Street Social Club, Salt Market Social, Three Tanners Bank and The Engine Room — keeping the spirit of discovery at the heart of the day.

Debuting in 2022, the festival has already welcomed over 150 artists and transformed the coastline into a buzzing hub of new music. With more acts still to be announced, 2026 looks set to be its most ambitious edition yet.

Organiser Anthony Thompson (Notion Live Events) said, “With huge excitement, we announce the wave one lineup for A Stone’s Throw Festival – Edition Four. It’s a real privilege to continue building this festival and to welcome such a bold, exciting mix of artists to one of the most distinctive coastal settings in the UK. In true AST fashion, we’ll once again be taking over a flurry of unique spaces across the North Shields coastline, with the AST bus returning to ferry audiences between stages throughout the day. This festival is rooted in place, community and discovery – and 2026 is shaping up to be another smash hit. We can’t wait for May 23rd and to deliver another unforgettable day for North Shields and beyond.”

Speaking ahead of their upcoming festival slot, Chalk added: “We can’t wait to play A Stone’s Throw Festival. It’s our first time back in the North East since Twisterella. We’ll be coming with new music from our debut album and looking forward to bringing it to the stage.”
