Monday 16th November
STAGE 600 People @ Northern Stage, Newcastle
Exploring the stories we tell in order to understand our place in the cosmos, 600 People falls somewhere between comedy show and an astrophysics lecture. Perfect for those who want to know the answer to the burning question: is there anyone out there?!

Tuesday 17th November
COMEDY Hal Cruttenden @ The Stand, Newcastle
Stand-up Hal Cruttenden brings his new show to Newcastle, bemoaning the evils of the  modern world – from over-sharing on social media to the 5:2 diet.

Wednesday 18th November
MUSIC Joseph & Maia @ Scrumpy Willow & The Singing Kettle, Newcastle
An intimate venue just made for up-close-and-personal musical acts, New Zealand songwriters Joseph & Maia bring their intimate and upbeat folk to the café. Acoustic support comes from smooth jazzy funkster Simon Taylor.

FILM Positive Force @ B&D Studios, Newcastle
Feature-length film which mixes archive footage of some of the most celebrated punk icons (Fugazi, Bikini Kill, Anti-Flag and more) and interviews with punk activist collective Positive Force, who emerged from the creative, politically-charged ferment of DC’s punk revolution in 1985.

Friday 20th November
MUSIC Nathalie Stern @ The Cumberland Arms, Newcastle
A top musical line-up featuring loop-drone maestro Nathalie Stern, whose live shows are utterly mesmerising. Support comes from Competition (formerly Alright Lover), offering  intimate and surreal pop.

Saturday 21st November

The American artist’s work is noted for carefully assembled sculptures and installations made of a variety of everyday materials. Concerned with the ethics of re-use, B.Wurtz’s artworks are also highly engaged in art history.

Sunday 22nd November
MUSIC Biscuithead & The Biscuit Badgers @ The Waiting Room, Eaglescliffe
Surreal whimsy abounds thanks to the Leeds-based musical combo, who manage to pack a whole lotta musical madness into their tunes. Expect a heady mixture of top tunes and onstage antics, as the band celebrate the release of their new album, Dinosaurs Ate My Caravan.
