There’s a new video released today from Chaos Jigsaw, and as a little tease for his debut EP due early next year, it more than hits the spot. The product of rapper Dylan Cartlidge, the horror-esque video showcases more of his eclectic tastes and draws on his multi-genre influences.

Film maker Adam Mendum shot the video for You Make It on rural farm land right here in the North East, and the video captures the more haunting elements  the play out musically beneath the sharp wordplay and smooth, rhythmical choruses. Cartlidge is an immensely accessible artist; there’s an authenticity beneath the young rapper’s voice and there’s ambition to what he says too, with the tale of the track one of a six week period in time when the world just went a bit weird. Stephen King references occur throughout, and Chaos Jigsaw’s lyrics flow perfectly over a video filled with striking images, all leaving a lot of intrigue as to what next year’s EP will offer up.
