A haunting new video from the talented songstress is released today
Following on from a very successful launch for her EP Warning, talented purveyor of tortured tunes Savannah Betts releases a video for the eponymous track from that EP today, with a video that’s every bit as haunting as the dark musicianship it accompanies.
The Warning EP marked a subtle shift in Miss Betts’ sound, taking things on from poppier influences, and producing a more grandiose sound altogether, and the powerful imagery the video captures perfectly suits this. It’s all avant-garde storytelling at its finest, both musically and visually. Working with Richard Flood and Sophie Teasdale, the shimmering visuals on show make for a fascinating music video, which was filmed in various North East locations including beaches at Tynemouth and South Shields. This is one video well worth a look to catch a gifted songstress on the rise.
