We’re delighted to get an exclusive look at the brand new single and video from Newcastle’s three-piece rock outfit DUNES. Take Me To The Nasties will be released on 24th May (on all major streaming platforms via Sapien Records) and is a riff driven explosion of energy with hints of bands such as Torche, Clutch and Queens Of The Stone Age.

Since forming at the end of 2016 the band have been busy releasing two five track EPs, recording their debut album, sharing the stage with bands such as Idles, Boy Azooga Red Fang and Monster Magnet, as well as performing at a number of UK festivals. 2019 looks to be a busy year for DUNES with the band due to go out on tour with GU Medicine (Undergroove Records) during March and the release of their debut album TAKE ME TO THE NASTIES which is due for release Sept 7th via Sapien Records.

We ask the band to offer further insight into their new track:
‘The song touches on the issues and stigma surrounding mental illness and people’s lazy and uneducated attitudes towards something that affects so many people nowadays.

Take Me To The Nasties is is often a set opener, it’s an upbeat and energetic song so we wanted to capture the live/gig feel for the video so we asked Isaac Johnson to come down and get some footage the last time we played at Think Tank and we’re really happy that he managed to capture that live energy.”
