Feel like there’s a bit of a noise void in your soul right now? Have withdrawal symptoms from all the noise and industrial events that have happened over the last couple of months? Don’t worry, Durham Castle have got you covered. Three of the North East’s biggest and best noise acts – Witchblood, Posset and Forest of Eyes – are coming to Durham Castle on Friday 5th December.

This is no ordinary gig, though. The acts are playing in an eleventh century chapel beneath the castle that has no mains power. Expect a reverb-filled, no holds barred experience. Possibly quite literally. No doubt some ethereal spirits will be awoken by the experimentation on offer.

A four-way split C60 cassette is also being offered out on the night to coincide with the extraordinary event.
