Spotlight exists to promote our thriving music scene here in the North East by providing innovative content ranging from video sessions, interviews, reviews, photography and now live shows. Following their November live show we are set for another at Little Buildings on Wednesday 3rd January with a quartet of real quality bands.

Weakdaze had a rather successful 2017, so expect much from their alternative, emo-influenced sound. Japanese TV Club make sure their fuzzy, chaotic noise is one you’ll be utterly enthralled by, touching on the melancholic and introspective too. The experimental No Teeth will be showcasing tracks from their EP released last year (wow, we’re into the New Year already, and it’s starting with a bang) with their intriguing sounds sure to go down well. Swine Tax bring lots of lo-fi goodness and DIY charm with a good sprinkling of attitude too, and round-out the bill of brilliant bands. Showcasing what an exciting scene we have, this show makes sure 2018 is off to a flying start.
