Even the most hardened soul probably has a little soft spot for a romantic movie. Even it’s not the most classically romantic film, you probably hide some deep feelings for a fluffy romp like When Harry Met Sally or a quirky tale of love like Amelie. In anticipation of Valentine’s Day, the Tyneside Cinema are offering you the chance to vote for your favourite romantic movie until the 29th January. Voting is completely open, so you can still vote for that obscure favourite with freedom!

Johnny Tull, Cinema Programme Manager, said: “Tyneside Cinema is delighted to open the nominations for the North East’s favourite romantic film for a seventh brilliant year. We’ve had a fantastic response fro our audiences in the past, and we can’t wait to see which film makes the North East swoon this Valentine’s Day!”

The winning film will be announced on the 3rd February and anyone attending the screening on Valentine’s Day will be given some free complimentary chocolates from Hotel Chocolat (tempting even for the singletons out there….)

You can vote for your favourite romantic movie at the Tyneside Cinema website.
