A new play from 154 Collective, the international group of theatre makers, visual artists, animators, musicians and writers, comes to Arts Centre Washington on Thursday 6th October,  and it’s a show from which you can expect some captivating visuals, a bewitching score and some very powerful storytelling.

The story is of Alice, stolen away in the middle of the night by her mum with no idea of what’s happening. Filled with a range of emotions, Alice is left in a strange house, not allowed to leave, hiding from strange noises at night and arguing with Mum in the day; it all leaves her scared, confused and angry. The tale unfolds through a mix of performance, music, live animation and film, and we’re left with a compelling new play about childhood trauma and what happens when we can’t tell what’s real and what’s a nightmare.

Under The Bed comes to Arts Centre Washington on Thursday 6th October.
