Continuing in their mission to support the region’s burgeoning live electronica scene, Tunnel Club, Newcastle’s purveyors of all things techno and electronica, bring a host of musicians to Newcastle’s Little Buildings on Saturday 30th March.

The duo also release a new EP, Exit Space: Re-Entry, for which they’ve invited local producers to remix the tracks. “We’ve been delighted with the quantity, and more importantly the quality, of the contributions we’ve received,” comments Tunnel Club’s Steve Key. “We’ve seen nearly every side of the electronic music spectrum covered on entries and have settled on the best five remixes to add to the EP.” Additions to the EP include remixes by County Durham-based Boss Level, Cass Lamb and Lurch, who showcase the region’s rich underground talents. There’s also remixes from techno-futurist band SkinMechanix and Tyneside’s Sonomac, who both appear live at the Little Buildings show alongside Tunnel Club themselves, noisy techno duo Rohli and acid techno act Onism. “The music represented here covers drum n bass, trance, techno, acid, IDM and ambient,” says Tunnel Club’s Graeme Stoker, “it is a unique opportunity to see such diversity of music created live; this really is an opportunity not to be missed.”
