Hartlepool’s music scene has really blown up this past year or so. There’s been a plethora of talent that has emerged from the historic coastal town as well as a successful first-ever Hartlepool Live festival that took place in June this year. To celebrate the Hartlepool and its music scene Town Hall Live returns on Saturday 21st September to showcase some of the best Poolie talent and more.

One of the artists spearheading this new wave of talent is anthemic indie-rock master craftsman James Leonard Hewitson, who will take to the stage ahead of his new single release ‘Dance Track’ out on the 11th October.

Joining him on the bill is Geordie-Grenadian rapper Sagaboi, who made his debut Hartlepool performance at Hartlepool Live. The charismatic hip-hop performer returns with a highly energetic, highly politicised set.

Completing the line-up is garage rockers Thee Strawberry Mynde who will be playing their first Hartlepool show for a while, alt-rockers Leopard Rays who will be debuting some new material and Hartlepool rookies Marines who are performing at the Town Hall for the very first time.

And for those who miss Jackson’s Landing, the event also sees the inclusion of a miniature craft fayre, where wares will be available from Molly Arnold, Slutmouth Design, Red Sky Gifts and Recast Clothing.

Hartlepudlians, support your scene and for those who live in the remainder of the scene, head down to Hartlepool Town Hall and go and see what all the fuss is about. Tickets can be purchased here.
