Feel like kicking off 2015 with a bang? You’re in luck, as three of the region’s most talented artists are set to make the first Saturday of the year just that little bit special. Tissue Culture are bringing Kingsley Chapman and Apologies to play with them on Saturday 3rd January at The Cluny and they’re also joined by a very special, top secret guest…

Angry young men Tissue Culture, who premiered their brand new video for Rainbow Codes with us earlier this month, have had a spectacular 2014 and are set to kick off their year by doing what they do best: being loud, raucous and shouty. No stranger to a bit of radge himself, ex-Chapman Family man Kingsley Chapman is bringing his new band The Murder along to play at their first Newcastle show. Expect a good dose of angst to fill that Chapman Family-shaped hole. Speaking of unfortunately-defunct bands, fans of Let’s Buy Happiness will be pleased to know that two of their contingent are now part of Apologies. Their appearance at The Cluny will only be their second gig to date but considering their pedigree, expect a spellbinding set.

The three bands are joined by a super-secret, extra-special guest… Surely you don’t want to miss the opportunity to find out who it is?
