As venues begin to contemplate life after lockdown, our region’s creatives will be attempting to find their place in the ‘new normal’.

Hartlepool Creatives have been attempting to discover what life post-Covid might look like for the creative sector with a series of think pieces, online talks and mentoring. Their next live Zoom webinar Q&A will take place on Wednesday 17th June and will focus on performance, theatre and touring.

Theatrical producers Fuel and innovative puppetry specialists Gyre & Gimble will discuss their work, their thoughts on the industry and take part in a Q&A. In advance of the webinar, both organisations have contributed think pieces on the industry – Gyre & Gimble’s artistic director Toby Olie’s thought-provoking piece looks at theatre-making in lockdown; while Fuel’s Sarah Wilson-White ruminates on the challenges and opportunities of the post-Covid-19 era.
