Tape Face has been viewed online by an incredible 51 million people since his appearances in the 2016 final of America’s Got Talent. After training to be a clown at the age of thirteen, New Zealand’s Sam Willis understands how to make a visually entertaining performance; a comedy show with no words sounds challenging, but Sam has created Tape Face with more than a passing nod to the classic silent comedy movies.

Since receiving the Foster’s Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer when launching Tape Face at Edinburgh Fringe in 2010, he has gone onto enjoy a residency in Las Vegas and countless plaudits for his imaginative use of household ephemera, leading to him being revered as one of the world’s most popular entertainers. His style of comedy breaks any language barrier and this helps explain the universal appeal, which you can discover for yourself at ARC, Stockton on Wednesday 11th September, as Tape Face’s unique brand of mime and physical comedy visits the region.
