Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, one of the North-East’s finest independent music venues, The Georgian Theatre in Stockton, has had to close its doors for the foreseeable future. However, The Georgian Theatre’s Facebook page will still be hosting live performances and beaming them into people’s living rooms.

Every Saturday, starting from 29th March, the cream of Teesside’s music scene will be streaming a live performance from their home via The GT page. It kicks off with rising star Eve Conway, who has been making waves on the UK music scene with her jaw-dropping performances at Radio One’s Big Weekend and at Maida Vale for her BBC Introducing session. Following Eve is rap sensation Shakk on 4th April, one half of the harmonious pop-folk duo Komparisson aka Kaitlyn Kempen performs on 11th April and talented singer-songwriter Joe Ramsey takes to the screen on 18th April.

During the performance, there will be a link to make a donation to the artists and the Tees Music Alliance, the music charity that runs The Georgian Theatre. To view the performance simply visit their Facebook page on a Saturday at 7:30pm.
