For the first time in ten years, The Early Years are set to return to Newcastle, as they play alongside Parastatic and XAM at The Cumberland Arms on Saturday 26th November.

It’s a night all pulled together by local psych rock favourites Parastatic, who’ve managed a real coup in getting The Early Years to travel up from London, and the influential shoegazers’ rare appearance gives this gig a real edge. Formed in 2004, and at the forefront of neo-psych, The Early Years are known for being an incredibly captivating live band too, with snaking synth lines, and pulsating bass, all part of a freak out sound that should make for an awesome Saturday night. With the experimental Parastatic and the new age soundscapes of XAM, it’ll all make the ten years since The Early Years last played in Newcastle, well worth the wait.
