Fresh from their appearance on Harry Hill’s Clubnite, Fringe Festival darlings The Delightful Sausage bring their quick fire sketch show, Ginster’s Paradise, to Northern Stage on Wednesday 11th March. Nominated for Best Show at the 2019 Fringe Awards, Amy Gledhill and Chris Cantrill welcome you to a holiday camp like no other. Forget Red Coats, it’s the camp’s Salmon Coats who’ll keep you entertained on this trip, with their surreal quips and painfully accurate observations. Prepare to witness the hilarious deconstruction of Britain’s beloved holiday culture…if you can see through the tears, that is.

Don’t get too comfortable though, you’re not just here for Sausage; Seymour Mace, star of BBC sitcom Ideal, will present his latest piece, an all-singing, all-dancing investigation of his own psyche. At its heart lies an ever-observant and profound exploration of the human condition. Collectively however, this is an evening of alternative comedy that will provide an elusive combination: intelligent stupidity. This isn’t one for shrinking violets though, as audience interaction is a given, but if you don’t mind a hug from Ginster’s resident fluffy mascot or a scalding from Colonel Whippy, what are you waiting for!? Check in!
