Gig promoters Wandering Oak have put on some cracking shows recently, so it comes as no surprise that they’ve got another stellar night planned on Sunday 15th April.

Certain to hit that sweet spot, the North East-based promoters are bringing together three hotly-tipped experimental acts to light up the cosy Cumberland Arms. If sun-kissed, chilled-out vibes fresh from Los Angeles are your bag, then you won’t want to miss headliners Sugar Candy Mountain. The American band will bring their unique psychedelic pop interlaced with dreamy basslines and hazy vocals to soothe your Sunday night fear.

Drawing influences from Brian Wilson, Os Mutantes and The Flaming Lips, Sugar Candy Mountain are that fresh breath of air that you’ll be adding straight to your summertime playlist.

Also on the bill are Newcastle’s experimental rockers Dose, who have already attracted attention from the likes of The Line of Best Fit and DIY Magazine. Praised for shoegaze-soaked, rowdy vibe, the five-piece are certain to tickle your fancies. Completing the trio of acts is Mother Night, an adopted Geordie from Scotland who’ll mesmerise with his mysterious pagan pop.
