Newcastle welcomes a brand new comedy night on Wednesday 2nd March, with an excellent line-up featuring two BBC New Comedy Award winners in 2013 victor Steve Bugeja and 2014’s recipient Lost Voice Guy. It’s a show all held together by Silly Billies founder Jack Gardner and sets off the new night with a bang.

Steve Bugeja has continued to grow as a comic since his award win, and will be performing his highly anticipated debut show for the very first time. A gifted writer,  his material has contributed to shows such as Mock The Week, 8 out of 10 Cats and Russell Howard’s Good News, and his brand of clever, well thought out comedy is the perfect way to launch this night. Alongside side him is the equally talented Lost Voice Guy. His real name is Lee Ridley, but for the comedian who can’t physically speak, his inventive, creative comedy comes from his iPad, with the original method of delivery as original as his material. Hosted by Jack Gardner, his cult comedy night Silly Billies has garnered his off the wall comedy quite the following.

With such a strong trio of acts, and promises of more monthly nights to follow, the North East has a new comedy night which is sure to be making waves.

Steve Bugeja, Lost Voice Guy & Jack Gardner bring comedy to The Bottle Shop on Wednesday 2nd February.
