Static is a North East music events company which specialises in house, hip-hop, dubstep, drum & bass, techno and a whole lot more. On Saturday 20th August their showcase gig at World Headquarters in Newcastle will feature seven of the region’s finest hip-hop acts in a gig which positively bursts with talent.

Taking part will be Washington duo The Click (Smooth Jezza & Dubs), who will be performing for the first time since 2010, newcomer and Static label star BEN, who will be performing his recent tracks, plus Ryan D, Da Hermit, Unk Artist and Mark Fear – collectively known as Indigo Children (formerly Animalistyx).

Alongside them will be Kay Grayson and Ceiling Demons who both performed at Evolution Emerging earlier this year. Kay is from Newcastle and has been rapping from the age of six, performing at 11 and now at 15 has had radio play all over the world. Energetic alt. hip-hop group Ceiling Demons, who have just released their Belly of The Hopeless EP, have had plenty of media coverage thanks to support slots with the likes of Sleaford Mods, De La Soul and Young Fathers.

Completing the line-up are HB, consisting of Just B and H-Man who have just released their new mixtape The Perfect Storm on Stay Freezing Records and Jarrow’s Triple B, former member of D4rksyde and renown rap battler.

Static’s showcase takes place at World Headquarters, Newcastle on Saturday 20th August.
