The Stand Spotlight shows are back again, with some of the best in fresh comedy talent performing themed sets once more on a chosen topic, and on Tuesday 4th October at The Stand in Newcastle, that theme is growing up.

With another carefully curated line-up, it’s a chance to see some of the newer comedy names The Stand play such a key role in championing, with all of them rising to the challenge of writing a set that’ll draw on the trials and tribulations we’ve all had to go through in growing up (if we managed it of course). This month welcomes to the stage the effortlessly watchable Hal Branson, delightfully crafted gags from Jack Gleadow, the sharp writing of Neil Harris, the charmingly funny Julie Grady-Thomas, a slightly edgier comedic take from Deage Paxton, the talented Stephen Duffy and cheeky and charming host Si Beckwith. With all the money raised going to Children North East, you’d be silly not to be there.

Stand Spotlight – Growing Up is at The Stand, Newcastle on Tuesday 4th October.
