After selling out his first headline show at Empty Shop in Durham, Soham De is now attempting to make as big a splash with his first Newcastle headline show at Mining Institute on Sunday 26th February.
The talented 19 year old from Durham is a real wunderkind of the North East music scene. His delicate, stripped back songs show a maturity that belie his age. A songwriter who has developed through a plethora of support slots, radio appearances and a variety of festivals; the last few months have seen him really grow before our eyes and ears is going to be one of the real treats of our region’s music scene in the next few years. A show like this could be a standpoint, a moment he will hark back to in years to come, and you can say you were there, and there aren’t many more perfectly beautiful backdrops than what the Mining Institute provides. With support from Eve Simpson‘s pure and rustic sound and the more indie influenced Callum Pitt, Soham De is making sure his hard to top Durham show might well just be.
