The NewBridge Project is launching a new exhibition and creating a unique land of wonder this winter, as School Disco opens on Saturday 10th December, with a special preview on the evening of Friday 9th December.
The independent exhibition aims to promote 16 artists living and working in the North East, with an equal spread of male and female artists, it’s set to showcase work across the artistic disciplines. Exploring new relationships and commonalities that are sure to emerge in peer groups, it’s filled with experimentation and these outcomes are bound to start conversations that will be interesting to both the audience, and artists on display. As well as the art on show there will be music all night and drinks from Wylam Brewery. Featuring art work by Aaron Guy, Alisha Jade Mcknight, Ant Macari,, Cody Sowerby, David Maughan, Grassi, Jade Sweeting, James Newrick, Janina Sabaliauskaite, Jonathan West, Laura Sheldon, Lou Green, Rebecca Reed, Roberta Louise Green and Sebastian Trend, and an after party at The Old Police House in Gateshead, this is a good excuse to get lost in something exciting, inventive and original.
