To commemorate the end of Mental Health Awareness Week, a wealth of local talent will be assembling at Newcastle’s Central Station in order to raise money for the charity MIND, one of the leading help provider’s in the battle against mental illness.

Taking place this Sunday 14th May, things will be kicking off on the station concourse at 11am with solo acoustic spots from Newcastle’s James Sloan and NARC’s very own Paul Broadhead. Gin & Juice will then be taking to the stage before the inimitable Bex Lapping.

Taking us into the early afternoon will be Durham’s Scott Dadeh Hamilton before a trio of rock bands in You Fooled Me, Grasscutter and The John Doe Experiment will be warming up anyone heading out to see Iron Maiden at the Arena in the evening, before 5pm headliners Ghost Signals cap off what is sure to be a wonderful showcase of North East talent.

There will also be a fabulous market stall throughout the day with all sorts of goodies from local traders.  The whole event is free so get along for a great day of local music and help contribute to what is a worthy cause.
