As we prepare to say goodbye to the current confines Alphabetti Theatre calls home, they’ve really excelled in having a selection of shows for their last moments in this space that should leave a lasting memory. After a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year, Matt Miller brings a show centred on his creation Rob Hobson to the venue tonight and running until Friday 10th February.
We caught up with Matt ahead of a performance of another character Suzanne Tweddle and discussed a lot about characters, poetry and a whole lot more; you can read that interview here. Though this show belongs to Rob, a man who likes to share. Arguably too much. It all makes for something painfully honest yet littered with self-doubt and moments of deceit as he talks about love (not Sarah though, well maybe), life and reveals plenty of himself. It’s a one-man show of laughs, confessions and moments of awkwardness that you will not want to look away from.
