The latest issue (or Broadcast) of music-themed anthology comic Radio On is here, with a launch party at The
Town Wall pub in Newcastle on Friday 9th March featuring an acoustic performance from Mama Lips, who also contributes a story to the new comic.

Radio On is a comic book anthology of music-related stories published by the locally based small press publisher The Analogue Press. Their fourth issue will be published on Friday 9th March ahead of the launch show, and features new work by some brilliant new talents on the UK underground comics scene. It’s priced at £4 and available here.

Broadcast #4 features a bumper crop of new work by Joel Benjamin (who did the cover to the first issue), Emily Rose Lambert, Mama Lips, Kit Palmer and Darrell Thorpe + collaborations from Luke Halsall/Nick Gonzo and Neil McKenzie/Bob Turner. Our brilliant sci-fi cover illustration comes from North Shields’ own Anthony Downie.

There’s also a DJ set from Alex: regular at/promoter of the North Shields Soul Exchange. He’ll be playing soul and plenty more besides. With free entry and the chance to buy a comic, you’d be silly not to attend.

Radio On’s Launch Party is at The Town Wall, Newcastle on Friday 9th March.
