Reliably informed

There are few comedy nights anywhere in the country that have the loyal following that Punch Drunk Comedy have built up. Regularly sold-out gigs, raising mammoth amounts of money for charity, they’ve not been around for long, but they’ve made a massive splash already. April sees the launch of their new monthly shows, as Monday 18th has them at Newsham Working Men’s Social Club in Blyth, Tuesday 19th it’s Netherton Club in Bedlington and Wednesday 20th it’s Whitehouse Unique Social Club in Ashington.

They’ve assembled yet more phenomenal line-ups for these shows, as the gig on Monday 18th at Newsham Working Men’s Social Club in Blyth features political comic Mark Steel, the always hilarious Rob Rouse and rising star Jamali Maddix. Tuesday 19th in Netherton Club, Bedlington has the aforementioned Rouse and Maddix alongside the comedy anarchy and silliness of Pat Monahan; with that trio also together on Wednesday 20th April at Whitehouse Unique Social Club in Ashington, with all shows held together by local favourite and all round awesome comedian Kai Humphries. They also have a monthly kids comedy night on the preceding Sunday, there really are few better comedy experiences you could ever wish for.
