After already announcing Reverend and the Makers, Craig Charles, DJ Yoda, Smoove and the Turrell and The Skints as acts coming to the event, the newly established Lindisfarne Festival have announced that Public Service Broadcasting will headline the event on Friday 4th September, with Adamski set to take to the stage on Saturday 5th September.

Public Service Broadcasting recently released their second, critically acclaimed album The Race For Space, which builds on their debut with a heady combination of Lemon Jelly-esque found sounds and some truly danceable beats, guitars and flourishes of brass. Meanwhile, the legendary Adamski has been hard at work making the finishing touches to what he hopes will be a brand new genre of music, blending a range of sounds together to create something truly unique.

Conleth Maenpaa, founder of Lindisfarne Festival, commented: “We are delighted to add the critically acclaimed Public Service Broadcasting to our line-up alongside our other great acts.  With a number of sell out shows across the UK including one in Newcastle, and after receiving rave reviews at the BBC 6 Music Festival 2015, it’s great to be able to give their fans an opportunity to see them again in the North East.”

On the addition of Adamski, Maenpaa said: “We are also delighted to have the legendary Adamski on board who will be playing his new genre of music to the crowds. Most famous for his collaboration with Seal on Killer and track N.R.G, Adamski will be showcasing his new sound which merges acid house, trip hop, minimalist techno with waltz music (rebranded as “three step”).”

The festival has already announced a range of local and national acts, as well as a full programme of creative arts, gastronomic delights and a festival of real ale. Set on the luscious Northumberland coastline, there’s no better place to experience the high-energy delights of the two headline acts.

Lindisfarne Festival takes place between Friday 4th and Sunday 6th September 2015. Tickets are on sale now.
