Nijinsky’s Asylum have built a strong name for themselves in a short space of time as a record label and community for many talented artists. Now turning their hand to gig promoting, they’ve collected together four of the most creative and original music makers around, for a very special show at The Old Police House, Gateshead on Saturday 16th April.

Politburo offer up some truly original, spellbinding songs, quirky yet charmingly intelligent and fun, darkly tinged, they’ll be as fascinating live as they are on record. Joining them is the psychadelic pop rock of The Jungfraus, the brilliantly off-kilter Nil Nil‘s acoustic guitar driven tracks filled with alternative crooning; and the similarly experimental Moon Prince, whose psychedelic songs reference mythology, music history, and sci-fi, for a geeky, fun, yet jarring listening experience. It all makes for a rare collection of inventive, eccentric and experimental musicians in what should be a very memorable show.

Politburo, The Jungfraus, Nil Nil and Moon Prince play The Old Police House, Gateshead on Saturday 16th April.
