Hartlepool lads PLAZA are a band making major waves in the North East music scene and beyond at the moment. Their ferocious second single Blood Orange is released today via Beyond The Wall, and they’re off on a few live dates later this month too, taking in Middlesbrough’s Westgarth Social Club on Saturday 18th June.

After being one of the stand-out bands of this year’s EVO Emerging in Newcastle, the band pulled in a lot of new fans with their captivating live show. The new track will pull in even more fans, solid musicianship, dreamy, twinkly guitars and haunting vocals give way to swift moments of powerful, chaotic noise, and drift right back into delicate guitar driven pop. Their post-indie sound is really going places, so the new single and a chance to catch them live will be snapped up quickly by many jumping on the ever filling bandwagon that is PLAZA.

PLAZA released Blood Orange via Beyond The Wall today, and play Westgarth Social Club in Middlesbrough on Saturday 18th June.
