Reliably informed

Last year lovable Teesside comedian Patrick Monahan ventured to the Washington Arts Centre with his outrageously funny show Cake Charmer. Hilariously silly, without being over the top or try-hard, it was a sign of what a great talent Monahan has developed into over the past few years, landing him spots on a number of primetime TV shows such as Splash!, Fake Reaction and Celebrity Squares. Now he’s returning to the venue for his latest Adventures in Monahan Land.

Renowned for playful audience interaction, family-friendly banter (without being remotely childish) and his classic, completely clean material, his shows are a perfect introduction to comedy for younger audiences as well as being a delightful throwback to a time when comedy didn’t always have to be edgy or suffering from a serious case of verbal diarrhea. If you want to have a good old-fashioned laugh, Monahan’s your man.

Patrick Monahan’s Adventures in Monahan Land is at Washington Arts Centre on Friday 13th February.
