North Yorkshire garage rockers Avalanche Party have teamed up with super promoters The Kids Are Solid Gold, Tees Music Alliance and the 116 to host a day-long festival on Saturday 23rd June.

Taking place across three stages at The Georgian Theatre and Green Room in Stockton, the Party At The End Of The World will showcase some fantastic rock bands, all with their unique take on the genre, as well as a sprinkling of hip-hop and folk.

Heading up the main stage at The Georgian Theatre will be rebellious five-piece Avalanche Party with their intense, energetic performance. Get ready for lyrics that pack a punch, raucous drums and guitar riffs that’ll go straight to the bone. In the same venue you can catch duo Dale Barclay & Laura St Jude; alongside their individual work, this couple collaborate together perfectly with Laura’s mysterious croon against Dale’s powerful Scottish tones. Blackpool punk cool kids Strange Bones also perform, as do chaotic, grungy quartet Forever Cult, funky alternative hip-hop artist Dylan Cartlidge and heavy metallers The Black Lagoons.

Take a stroll over to the Green Room and you’ll be treated to a solo set courtesy of Barry Hyde from Sunderland’s very own indie kings, the Futureheads. Also in the Green Room will be hardcore rockers FIRE (The Unstoppable Force), Teesside veteran odd rockers Shrug, vintage rockabilly duo Snakerattlers, stunning folk singer-songwriter Amy Ellis and lush 80s chaos from Triangle, Triangle, Triangle. With a handful more acts TBA, the end of the world looks pretty great from where we’re standing.
