Darkly comic piece of theatre Parallel is at ARC in Stockton on Wednesday 9th November, with a story of choice, chance and being anywhere but here set to prove to be an engaging watch.
It’s an exploration of understanding home, purpose and charity. The story follows a chance meeting of three women late at night, with none of the trio really wanting to be there, but none wanting to leave either. With the moment offering up tranquility for just a second so rare in our hectic modern world, the stillness brings both solace and dicomfort. With only loose change, some booze and a dodgy carrot at their disposal, will any of them find their way home? The part that each actor will play is determined by the roll of a dice each night by an audience member, as the role chance and choice plays in our lives unravels before our very eyes.
