The utterly brilliant magic village down in Ouseburn Valley is offering folks a wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with some of the region’s finest artists and craftspeople when four studios fling their doors open to the public on Sunday 29th March.

At the Biscuit Factory you will be able to see painters in front of their canvas, take a look into a live photography studio, watch jewellers crafting at their workbenches and join in with a textile workshop. Down at little sister venue The Biscuit Tin you can peruse an affordable show of small artworks and have a crack at their giant ‘paint by numbers’ project.

Lucky dips, special deals, workshops and a raffle are happening at 36 Lime Street. If you’re feeling hands on then have a look at the Engraved and Trapped Glass Workshop by Zoe Garner and Joanne Mitchell.

Mushroom Works celebrate their 10th anniversary with an artist and designer  showcase and they welcome back some previous tenants to find out what they’ve been up to. There’s a little bit of everything on offer here with the opportunity to browse and buy paintings, furniture, jewellery, pottery, textiles and illustrations.

The Ouseburn Open Studios Spring Salon Sale takes place on Sunday 29th March.
