Food, drink and music fans rejoice as Orange Pip Market returns to Middlesbrough on Saturday 27th April (12-7pm). A key date in any foodie’s calendar as it brings the best in local and regional artisan food and beverages, alongside live music and creative activities to Baker Street, Bedford Street and Albert Road.

There are food stalls to tantalise all taste buds from the likes of Fat Hippo (burgers), Chimney Chicks (Hungarian chimney cakes), Ellephant Bakery (vegan cakes and cookies), Green Guerrilla (vegan street food), Good Time Tacos, Spud Gun Loaded Fries, Armenian Family, Yorkshire Burrito and a whole lot more. With this in mind, you might want to wear your trousers with an elasticated waistband.

If you aren’t too full, then you could get involved in the entertainment provided by Orange Pip Art Collective in association with Navigator North. This includes an outdoor yoga session in Bedford Street car park (12.30pm – they provide the mats) and Salsa dancing from Salsa Sam. For those who just want to sit and settle their lunch however, there will be live music from 1-6pm featuring folk-rocker Ramona Rose, folk soundscapers Nel Unlit, indie noise maker Stay Free and more to be confirmed.

That’s Saturday’s dinner, tea and supper sorted then.
