Tracks launch a new project seeking to inspire and support women in the music industry with the Darlington-based company producing a series of workshops and events that will give the immensely talented female artists in our region a new platform.

Noisy Daughters vinyl with support from Butterfly Effect Records, Rianne Thompson (BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio) and Darlington For Culture gets excited about those talented North Eastern women who’ve got real musical skill, with Darlingtonians, Eve Conway and Zararuth just two of those on board for future projects.

They launch a gig at Voodoo in Darlington on Friday 30th November, with a night of fuzzy, fiery and ferocious female-fronted acts making the line-up.

There’s a good bit of art rock from Dead Naked Hippies, a bit of electronic shoegaze from Sticky Pearls, and it’s all rounded out by the darkwave crawl of Penance Stare. There’s a wealth of talented females in our North East scene, and Noisy Daughters is an incredible showcase of just some of those.

Noisy Daughters is at Voodoo Cafe, Darlington on Friday 30th November.
