With three new remixes of songs from The Moonstruck Confederate album by therunningchelsea, the talented musicians who contributed are set to perform their own original music for an awesome show at Northumberland Arms on Friday 7th October. Nijinsky’s Asylum presents Outside Your House, What We Call Progress, ako and Kilo Grandma, and it should all make for an incredible gig of some of the most unique music around.
The night features gloriously leftfield duo Outside Your House, whose ponderous melancholy pop features a superbly dry wit and some really catchy choruses. They’re joined by the flickering beats and mechanical electronic sounds of What We Call Progress, expansive, synthetic soundscapes from ako and the completely one-off Kilo Grandma. As ever, Nijinsky’s Asylum are showing off the best in the weird and wonderful musicians the North East has to offer, and pulling them together for some brilliantly eclectic bills.
The digital release of the remixes will be made available on the 7th October through Nijinsky’s Asylum.
Outside Your House, What We Call Progress, ako and Kilo Grandma play The Northumberland Arms, Newcastle on Thursday 7th October.
