The NewBridge Project Space offers a new collaborative exhibition opening for a special preview on Friday 3rd April. Nervous Skies, which will be the third collaborative transatlantic project between Amelia Bande, Deborah Bower, Annette Knol and Mat Fleming, brings together automatic writing, vibrant colour and 16mm film to create a story charting emotional fluctuations. The delicate nature of interactions on the vision, mind and heart as well as the symbolic nature of chance exchanges illustrates the tenuous nature of movement and relationships.

The exhibition itself runs from Saturday 4th April until Saturday 2nd May and features international artists from Chile, the UK and the Netherlands. The group includes Annette Knol and Amelia Bande; both are co-editors of New York small press Publishing Puppies. Annette Knol also co-founded the project space Kotti-Shop in Berlin and the print workshop Copyroboter. Deborah Bower and Mat Fleming are co-founders of the infamous Star and Shadow in Newcastle upon Tyne. Mat Fleming runs Film Bee which is a filmmaking co-operative lab. The collaborators have previously shown their works in London, Germany and New York.

This promises to be a really interesting exhibition, not just because of the rich history of the collective, but also due to the techniques used to bring it together.
