An event many of us now have marked in our calendars as a reason to gorge of some of the fine eats our city has to offer just keeps on getting bigger and better. The thirteenth NE1 Restaurant Week welcomes over 100 restaurants to the sixth year of the highly anticipated event for all foodies.
From Monday 16th until Sunday 22nd January, diners can sample some of Newcastle’s gloriously cosmopolitan food with prices set at just £10 or £15. Food lovers can eat out ‘around the world’ in our fair city from Italian, Spanish Tapas to Chinese, Brazilian, German and Indian. With 24 new eateries added, we boast more restaurants per square foot than any other Northern city. With something for everyone, there is so much to be sampled, that one evening out may not be enough. Though a lot of us still have that new gym membership to make use of, so a few extra calories to burn isn’t a problem, not when the food is this good and such a bargain.
The event always proves hugely popular, so snapping up a table and trying somewhere new is the ideal start to the year.
