Our first event was a phenomenal success, and we can’t wait to welcome four more superb acts to the Newcastle venue on Saturday 23rd July.

Headlining will be The Lake Poets. Martin Longstaff’s star is on the ascendance right now; his songwriting prowess really comes to the fore on his highly regarded debut album, filled with beautiful and heartfelt songs which are performed with passion and fervour. A real live treat, this performance will be a proper stunner.

Providing supporting sounds will be Newcastle indie rockers The Great Curve, who combine the talents of musicians from the likes of Grandfather Birds, Deerhart and Last Waltz to create an epic alt. rock sound. Also joining the bill are two musicians who usually perform alone, but for our gig have pulled something rather special out of the bag: The Shooting Of, aka multi-instrumentalist Paul Jeans, presents his deliciously noir pop bolstered by additional musicians from indie folk maestros Minotaurs; while opening the show will be the loop folk delights of Nathalie Stern, who will also be joined by musicians from the Noize Choir.

Add to all this Endless Window DJs on the wheels of steel all day long, food stalls, an enviable roster of drinks, an amazing venue, guaranteed sunshine (promise!) and tickets at just a fiver in advance and you’ve got yourself a pretty darn special event.

The Lake Poets, The Great Curve, The Shooting Of and Nathalie Stern play Wylam Brewery’s Palace of Arts, Newcastle on Saturday 23rd July. Tickets available here.
