Teesside-based super promoters The Kids Are Solid Gold have announced their line-up for The Storytellers stage at this year’s Stockton Calling, taking place on Saturday 31st March.

Noise-pop Glaswegian’s The Ninth Wave headline The Storytellers stage, bringing their unique brand of goth pop and 80s new wave to the festival; also performing will be fellow Scots The Snuts, whose epic indie sound will be a great complement to the line-up. There’s also soulful pop from Kioko, York’s evocative dark popsters The Howl & The Hum, Glaswegian punks Rascalton, Sheffield’s marvellous indie popsters The Seamonsters, Newcastle indie upstarts FEVA, alt. pop duo Upstairs Open and rockers Plastic.

Also announced today are local four-piece rock band Twister, who play The Georgian Theatre; alt. folk duo Tomorrow Bird, who complete the line-up at our Green Room stage; and rock trio McCormick, who play Room 21.

Organisers advise us that over 50% of the tickets have already been sold, and with the addition of one more headline to be announced next week, we advise you to get in quickly before it’s a sell out!
