Four of the North East’s best up-and-coming musical acts; Behold A Pale Horse, The Kentucky Derbies, Twin Beams and Travis Boush are to be part of a new release from Mono Recordings, with the Mono Sampler 18#1 arriving on 10” Vinyl.

The record label run by producer Mick Ross (Minotaurs, Soundtracks For A B-Movie, Frankie & The Heartstrings), Jonny Hamilton and Nick Sheffield are based out of a recording studio in the Ouseburn Valley area of Newcastle.

It’s a way to broaden the label’s horizons and spotlight some big developments and shows that the bespoke recording service and production Mono offer is something truly awesome. Offering people that tangible product with amazing artwork, something that you can treasure and show off to your friends, Mono’s sampler will mark the first of several releases.

Mono’s Sampler 18#1 will be accessible on streaming platforms from Friday 29th March with 10” vinyl copies also available.

There’s also a launch show (featuring all the aforementioned acts) will take place at The Cluny, Newcastle on Friday 29th March (tickets link here).
