Reliably informed

Having re-launched itself as a major cultural hub in North Shields earlier this year, The Exchange is well on course in proving its ability to draw big names and quality entertainment. One of their final events of the year takes the form of a comedy shindig featuring a quartet of talent that promise to make you laugh your reindeer socks off.

Headlining on Friday 16th December is inimitable Geordie comic (and the voice of Viz cult hero Sid The Sexist) Mike Milligan. The actor, comedian and former teacher’s brand of witty, engaging and seriously sharp comedy has seen him become a firm favourite on the comedy circuit across the country. Providing suitably chortlesome support is Game of Thrones actor Ben Crompton, whose stints in the gore-drenched TV series adaptation and appearances in sitcoms such as Johnny Vegas’ Ideal and BBC sketch show Man Stroke Woman have ensured he’s a familiar face, plus NARC.’s very own resident comedian and web maestro Si Beckwith will regale the audience with his unique look on life. Compering the evening is Newcastle comic Si Buglass who will bring his offbeat humour and oddball style to proceedings.
