The latest instalment of Massa Confusa Presents comes to Little Buildings in Newcastle on Saturday 19th March, with a line-up packed full of some of the finest purveyors of doom and metal you’re likely to find. Local talented twosome Massa Confusa continue to assemble varied line-ups of bands they rate, and their judgement here is as ever one worth trusting.

Haikai No Ku offer up doom with a psychedelic twist, damaged feedback and a tortured sound make for band who produce noise like no other. Plague Rider utilise frenetic guitars over a blistering and chaotic rhythm section to craft something which takes off from death metal influences and pushes on into a sound that continuously evolves. Joining them are Newcastle psych punks Snakes Don’t Belong In Alaska and the fuzz-filled punk tinged sound of Massa Confusa themselves.

Within the confines of Little Buildings, it’s a quartet of bands that’ll shake the bones of all in attendance, and another showcase of quality noise merchants from the Massa Confusa Presents gigs, as they continue to go from strength to strength.

Haikai No Ku, Plague Rider, Snakes Don’t Belong In Alaska and Massa Confusa play Little Buildings, Newcastle on Saturday 19th March.
