Long Play Cafe on Newcastle’s Quayside is an ever growing destination for brilliantly intimate shows, and having hosted a plethora of musical talent in the past, they now host Many Moons and Savannah Betts on Monday 7th March.

Fronted by Irish vocalist Patrick Kelly, Many Moons offer a raw, raucous twist on the acoustic singer/songwriter backed by a band set-up, and it’s something that serves very well. A really warm, tender voice offers up something very distinctive.

Support comes from the equally talented Savannah Betts. Having just finished her UK tour, she goes from strength to strength as a songwriter; smart lyrics underpinning a voice full of confidence, yet twinkling in and out of showing vulnerability in the most beguiling way. With two truly original songwriters on show, Long Play Cafe are starting to make quite the reputation as hosts to some phenomenal shows.
