If you’re a fan of the author of Terry Pratchett, you’re a huge fan, there’s never room for middle ground for a talented writer who caught many of us at a young age and never let go. His Discworld series of books is adored by many, so an imagining on the stage is greeted with a sense of excitement for many; and be a perfect introduction to some fascinating characters to others. It comes to the People’s Theatre, Newcastle from Tuesday 19th until Saturday 23rd July.

Starting when King Verence is to marry Magrat Garlick; a witch who’s struggling to adapt to court life at Lancre Castle. The weird and wonderful Discworld is the backdrop for a funny, sharp and fast-moving take on the fourteenth novel in the series, with a welcome return of Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg to the stage. Though the shows were originally planned to run a week earlier, the change in dates just adds to the anticipation. It’ll all make for a theatrical experience like no other, and all five nights are sure to be a memorable evening.

Lords And Ladies is at People’s Theatre, Newcastle from Tuesday 19th until Saturday 23rd July.
