Northern boys from indie-rock band Little Comets have been steadily gathering a fanbase of their own and will be performing at the O2 Academy in Newcastle.

In their own words, they play “kitchen sink indie” and even if you don’t know what that means, you can probably still imagine it: that description encapsulates exactly what Little Comets are all about. Originally from Jarrow and Washington, the trio released their debut album back in 2011. Over four years later, the band is still going strong, and have recently released their third studio album, Hope Is Just A State of Mind, on Monday 16th February.

The album has seen the band achieve new success, reaching Number 31 in the charts. With a whole host of memorable and catchy indie tunes, they also recently packed out Pop Recs Ltd in Sunderland and are living proof that you don’t have to be on a big label to make an impact in the music world.

Little Comets will be performing at the O2 Academy in Newcastle on Saturday 14th March.
